The Canadian Federation of Business and Professional Women (BPW) would like to invite you to its October monthly meeting on Thursday, Oct. 11.

We will be featuring a program for the First Annual Day of the Girl put on by Jace Meyer, outreach and membership manager at Actua Canada.  Actua is a registered charity with a 20-year track record of success in providing hands-on, interactive education enrichment experiences in science, engineering, technology, and mathematics (STEM) to Canadian youth aged six to 16 years. They deliver programming in every province and territory, reaching 225,000 young Canadians in 450-500 communities nationwide each year.

We require confirmation of attendance so that we can provide a list of names to security, and we also kindly ask guests to attend at a fee of $10.   BPW develops the professional and leadership potential of women in Canada through education, awareness, advocacy and mentoring within a supportive network.  Founded in 1930, we are part of the International Federation of Business and Professional Women, with clubs in more than 100 countries around the world. Our International Federation has Category I Consultative Status at the United Nations. Our goal is the improvement of economic, political, social and employment conditions for women in Canada.   $10.   RSVP to president@bpwottawa.com.
