Once again the Ottawa Business Journal is aiming to identify the region’s fastest growing private companies. No matter what industry you’re in — if you’re a startup or a seasoned player — your company may qualify.

This is a unique opportunity for the region’s rising stars to be recognized for substantial, sustainable and profitable growth.

To be eligible, nominated companies must be headquartered in the National Capital Region and demonstrate revenue growth and positive cash flow over the past three years.

The company must have completed three fiscal years with financial statements that have been subject to a review engagement or formal audit to qualify.

In year one, companies must have had a minimum revenue of $100,000 and by year three, a minimum of $1 million.  All companies must be cash-flow positive in all three years.

The deadline for nominations is noon on Thursday, March 28, 2013.

Once all nominations are received, participating companies are ranked by percentage revenue growth between year one and year three of their most recent three-year period.

The Ottawa Business Journal will publish a special report on the Fastest Growing Companies in Ottawa, celebrating entrepreneurship and uncovering the successful management practices used by local companies.
