Trade show to connect Ottawa businesses
with light rail transit consortia companies
The procurement process for the City of Ottawa’s $2.1-billion Ottawa Light Rail Transit (OLRT) is underway. In an effort to encourage local business participation and employment opportunities, the City of Ottawa, in partnership with the Ottawa Chamber of Commerce and the Ottawa Business Journal, is hosting a local trade show.
Ottawa businesses, labour associations, trade schools, colleges and universities are invited to participate in the trade show. This will give them a meaningful opportunity to interact and engage with the three selected consortia competing for the OLRT contract. The three consortia are made up of world-class fi rms with extensive expertise in transit infrastructure projects.
As a company interested in the OLRT project, you cannot afford to miss this event! This exciting venue will provide plenty of room for companies in Ottawa’s infrastructure, engineering and construction sectors.
