Biggest Business Achievement: Part of my responsibilities with the hockey club include all facets of the Bell Capital Cup, a 500-plus team minor hockey tournament held each December.
Biggest Business Obstacle: Time. Since the team’s return to Ottawa, a significant focus has been placed on supporting our community through a variety of initiatives and events.
Biggest Lesson Learned: Be proactive rather than reactive. Use each day to its fullest to accomplish the tasks required of you.
Three Words That Describe You: Dedicated, creative, fair.
Charitable Involvement: Sens Foundation/Rogers House and the United Way.
Biggest Influence: Throughout my career I’ve been lucky to have learned from a number of great leaders who have influenced my career, but my parents have had the largest impact on me, instilling a hard-working, never-give-up attitude.
First Job: Working in the backshop at York Downs Golf and Country Club.
Favourite Pasttime: Playing hockey or golf.
Favourite Travel Destination: Any southern destination (with a beach), or back home (Markham) to see family and friends.
