CLUBLINK, One membership more golf

Why play the same course again and again when you can choose from dozens?

The ClubLink advantage is simple – a single membership with any one of the golf clubs in the ClubLink family gives you access to the rest.

ClubLink’s member clubs range from the prestigious Glen Abbey in Oakville, designed by Jack Nicklaus, to Ottawa’s GreyHawk, Montreal’s Islesmere and Fort Lauderdale’s Eagle Trace, host of the Honda Classic for more then five years. For golfers in the National Capital Region, there are four member clubs in Ottawa-Gatineau and four in the Montreal area, including Tremblant..

How does it work?
Purchase a membership with the local ClubLink member club of your choice. Member clubs are ranked in four categories – Silver, Gold, Platinum and Prestige. A Gold membership gives you reciprocal access to all Silver, Gold and Platinum clubs at no additional cost. Purchase a membership at a Platinum-member club and you gain full reciprocal access to all other member clubs without any additional fees. One membership, more golf!

Having that reciprocal access doesn’t mean you pay more for your membership.

“Our membership fees are comparable to the initiation or entrance fees you would pay at other golf clubs, which only allow you to play that one club,” said Eric Lamarre, ClubLink’s Regional Director of Sales and Marketing for Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec.

“Unlike other clubs, our membership fee is payable over a number of years, up to 20 in some cases, and interest free. And if at any time you decide to discontinue your membership, you are not obligated to pay any outstanding fees.”

It truly is a low-risk, high-value way to get the most out of your golfing season. ClubLink has even introduced a Twilight Membership, in which Platinum members can have free memberships for spouses and children under 16 to easily make it a family affair.

The ClubLink network includes 50 18-hole equivalent championship and six 18-hole equivalent academy courses at more than 40 locations, primarily in Ontario, Quebec and Florida.

Where to play
In the Ottawa and Montreal areas, these include:

Eagle Creek: Winding its way through majestic forest, this Platinum club has the only courses in Canada designed by golf legend Ken Venturi.

GreyHawk: This Gold club features two 18-hole courses – one is typical Canadiana, while the other mimics the rugged heathland courses of Scotland.

Kanata: A Platinum club with a scenic and peaceful parkland setting for the urban golfer, only 20 minutes from downtown Ottawa.

Hautes Plaines: Only 10 minutes from downtown Ottawa, this Gold club in Gatineau has the most exciting topography of any club in the National Capital Region.

Le Fontainebleau:
In a few short years, this Platinum club’s traditional look, rolling countryside and mature woodlands have made it a favourite among seasoned golfers.  Fontainebleau was host of a PGA Champions Tour event and a PGA Skin’s Game.

Islesmere: This Platinum club features narrow, tree-lined fairways that challenge the mettle of even seasoned golfers, a fact that has made it popular with a number of professional tournaments over the years.

Le Maitre de Mont-Tremblant: The precision and power of Masters champion Fred Couples is reflected in the design of this Platinum club, which he co-designed to take full advantage of its sweeping vistas and river shorelines.

Val des Lacs: This classic parkland Gold club is renowned for its pristine conditioning and traditional feel.
