One Young World 2016 - Get Involved

One Young World is the preeminent global forum for young leaders aged 18-30 and gathers the brightest young leaders from around the world, empowering them to make lasting connections and develop solutions to some of the world's most pressing issues. The City of Ottawa is proud to be bringing and hosting the 7th Annual One Young World Summit here in September.

At the annual Summit where the most valuable young talent from global and national companies, NGOs, universities and other forward-thinking organizations from over 190 countries are joined by world leaders. Attendance at the Ottawa event is expected to exceed 1,800 delegates. Delegates are supported and guided by a line-up of Counsellors that have included Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu, Kofi Annan, Sir Bob Geldof, Professor Muhammed Yunus, Sir Richard Branson, Arianna Huffington, Jamie Oliver, Antony Jenkins and Paul Polman.

The local community have the opportunity to be part of this life-changing summit and help welcome and engage the young leaders during their time in Canada’s Capital.
