Ms. Hanson is a communications and marketing professional who has lived in the Westboro area for 15 years, the BIA said. She’s also been a spokesperson for the Ottawa Hospital.
"It's an honour to have been asked to join the Westboro Village BIA during this time of tremendous change and growth," Ms. Hanson said.
"I look forward to working with the BIA's members to help solve some of the issues they are facing."
Ms. Hanson succeeds former executive director Elaina Martin, who had held the post for eight years.
“Natalie’s knowledge of the history of Westboro Village will be important as we move forward into this new phase in our history,” said Cheryl Cooper, chair of the board of the BIA.
“Intensification will bring new businesses and new residents to the area, managing this growth will be key to ensuring that Westboro Village remains attractive to both residents and visitors.”
