Tomberlin to return for second term as Sprott dean

Jerry Tomberlin, the dean of the Sprott School of Business, will keep his job for a second term, Carleton University has announced.

Mr. Tomberlin, who has been the school’s dean since 2008, will begin his second term on July 1. The term will last four years.

Mr. Tomberlin has said that he intends to make securing a building for the school, which currently holds classes across the Carleton campus, a major focus of this term.

“I believe the Sprott School has great potential to achieve so much more and I look forward to continuing to realize these goals and dreams,” he said in a statement.
