City manager Kent Kirkpatrick issued a statement saying the city “looks forward to an update from Plasco by the end of the year.”
December 31 is the next deadline for Plasco to get the financing to build a plant in the city by 2016.
This is the third deadline the company has received after asking for extensions on two previous occasions.
“The city is not in a position to speculate about Plasco’s Human Resources or business operations decisions,” Mr. Kirkpatrick wrote.
