A Toronto-based property developer has submitted planning documents to the City of Ottawa in hopes of getting approval for condos at a site close to the St. Laurent Centre.
Verdiroc Development Corp.’s planning rationale, completed by Vincent P. Colizza Architect Inc., outlines a development with 32 condominium flats as well as a 17-storey apartment building with 128 units.
The structures would be at 1240, 1241, 1243 and 1244 Donald St. in an area currently occupied by two apartment buildings, which would remain on the site.
The flats would have 32 surfacing parking stalls, while the new apartment building would have two levels of underground parking (133 stalls) and 23 stalls at grade.
A comment period on the application has just been completed, according to an online city database concerning development applications.
