Richcraft Homes is planning to put in two mixed-use buildings in an area just south of Tunney’s Pasture, according to a planning documents filed with the city.
Richcraft Homes is proposing two mixed-use buildings for the area close to Parkdale Avenue and Bullman Street (Google Street View image).
The local developer is proposing a 32-storey residential building at the corner of Scott Street and Parkdale Avenue. A 28-storey residential building would also be constructed at the corner of Parkdale Avenue and Bullman Street.
Each building would have commercial uses at grade and would include hundreds of spaces for bike parking.
The 32-storey building would have 208 residential apartments and 25,294 square feet of commercial retail and office space, along with 190 car parking spots underground.
The 28-storey building would have 291 residential apartments, 260 parking spaces and 13,381 square feet of commercial space “proposed to be occupied by a retail food store.”
The developer is seeking a rezoning that would lift a 62-foot maximum building height for the properties, as well as restrictions on the maximum floor index.
A comment period is underway for the development site, which currently has eight buildings as well as a parking lot.
