Recognia has signed an agreement with Bell Direct to provide the Ottawa company's investment research products to the Australian market, the first time the firm has worked in that country. The products are intended to assist with making trading decisions on the stock market. Financial details were not disclosed.
Ottawa's Envision Online Media Inc., a subsidiary of Northcore Technologies Inc., plans to deliver a content management system to Trinity Development Group Inc. The system is supposed to let Trinity, which has developed 22 million square feet of retail space, better communicate with its stakeholders. The contract amount was not disclosed.
Halogen Software has delivered its employee management software to fellow Ottawa firm Juniper Systems. The firms say Halogen's software "offers a seamless way to link employee goals and development plans with organizational objectives." Financial and other contract details were not released.
Edgewater Wireless Systems Inc. has entered into a channel alliance with Nomadix, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of hospitality technology provider DOCOMO InterTouch. The firms intend to work together to combine Edgewater's multi-channel Wi-Fi access points with Nomadix's software that manages the quality, security and usage of public Internet access. The amount of the contract was not disclosed.
Harris Corp. has received contracts, for undisclosed amounts, to upgrade the air traffic control systems to airports in the Dominican Republic and Uruguay. Its voice communication and control system will be used in Cibao International Airport in Santiago de los Caballeros, and the Aeropuerto de Punta del Este in Maldonado. Harris will both install the systems, which feature touch screens and interfaces for radio and telephone, and train air traffic controllers and technical staff on operations and maintenance.
