S.i. Systems has received a $510,300 supply arrangement from Human Resources and Skills Development Canada. The contract is for consulting concerning informatics services and runs until March 31 next year.
Kinaxis and GT Nexus will work together to provide a "cloud-based unified planning and execution platform" targeted to enterprises and business process outsourcing service providers. It is supposed to help these businesses with managing their supply chain, using technology. Financial details were not disclosed.
Solacom Technologies has been awarded prequalified supplier status for the State of California's 9-1-1 systems and services master purchase agreement, which covers purchasing for customer premise equipment and maintenance services. Solacom received the highest score among the bidders, the Ottawa firm stated. No contract details were disclosed.
Searidge Technologies' intrusion detection system has been selected by Aspen-Pitkin County Airport near Aspen, Col., west of Denver. The number of vehicles and pedestrians entering the airport without authorization prompted the Federal Aviation Administration to threaten regulatory action, the airport stated, prompting a search for appropriate technology to address it. The amount of the contract was not disclosed.
Harris Corp. will provide a back-up air traffic control system to Baghdad Airport for an undisclosed amount. An in-country contractor will install the system and provide training in maintenance and operations to airport staff.
