Steve Adams has joined Fusebill as CEO. Mr. Adams has more than 20 years' experience in high tech, most recently as vice-president and general manager with j2 Global. He is a graduate of the University of Waterloo and the Richard Ivey School of Business.
Renato Pontello has joined Solantro Semiconductor Corp. as legal counsel. Mr. Pontello is the former corporate secretary, general counsel and vice-president of legal at Zarlink Semiconductor Inc.
Aura Silver Resources Inc. has named Alain Vachon as vice-president of exploration. He replaces Eric Craigie who has retired from his management position but remains with the board as a director. In addition, Nick Tintor has accepted an appointment to the board as an independent director.
Clearford Industries Inc. has appointed Kevin Loiselle as president and chief operating officer. Mr. Loiselle will be responsible for all operations of Clearford, including research and development, sales and project delivery.
Kinaxis has appointed Jeff Johnson to the newly created position of executive vice-president of global sales operations. Mr. Johnson brings more than 25 years of software sales experience to this position.

Primecorp Commercial Realty vice-president Bruce H. Wolfgram recently received an award for the largest dollar volume transaction in office properties from the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors. Mr. Wolfgram won the award for his collaborative efforts in leasing a 100,000-square-foot office building for $15.4 million for Abbott Laboratories.
Several local breweries were recently honoured with Ontario Brewing Awards. Kichesippi Beer Co. received both the silver and people's choice awards in the European lager category for its Kichesippi Natural Blonde, while Hogsback Brewing Co. received the gold and people's choice awards in the North American lager category for its Hogsback Vintage Lager. Hogsback Brewing was also named newcomer of the year. Additionally, Clocktower Brew Pub received a silver award in the amber ale category for its Clocktower Red, as well as a silver award in the fruit beer category for its Clocktower Raspberry Wheat.
