Susan Marcovitch, Sylvie Pesut and Tracy Vorstandlechner among those accepting new positions in Ottawa's business community.

PEOPLE ON THE MOVE

Susan Marcovitch has joined Cardel Homes as vice-president of sales and marketing. She was previously director of sales and marketing at The National Hotel and Suites Ottawa (formerly The Delta Ottawa Hotel and Suites).

The Howes Group has appointed Sylvie Pesut as an associate for global accounts. Ms. Pesut has previous experience in the business travel industry.

Tracy Vorstandlechner joined Eagle Professional Resources as sales director of finance and accounting for eastern Canada. Ms. Vorstandlechner was most recently with Robert Half Canada Inc.

Lynne Clark has joined United Way/Centraide Ottawa as director of sponsorship and partnership development. Ms. Clark brings extensive experience in sales, marketing and strategic community investment.

Mitel appointed Jeff Nolan as vice-president of channel development for North America and Tom Lang as vice-president of Canadian sales. Mr. Nolan was most recently head of Mitel sales in Canada, and Mr. Lang comes to Mitel from Bell Canada, where he was general manager of Ontario business markets.

Marina Stipanac has joined the intellectual property group at Perley-Robertson, Hill & McDougall LLP/s.r.l as a trademark agent. Ms. Stipanac joins the firm from MBM.
