Storm Internet Services has appointed Avedis Menechian as CEO. Mr. Menechian was previously the chief marketing officer of Equifax in Toronto.

The Shore Club Ottawa has appointed Jason Groulx as its new executive chef and Eve Lesage as the new general manager. Mr. Groulx was previously sous chef at The Shore Club, while Ms. Lesage is the former general manager of Social.
Alexis Ashworth has been appointed CEO of Habitat for Humanity National Capital Region. She recently held the role of executive director at Habitat’s Halifax affiliate.

Mike Ziola of Biagio’s Italian Kitchen and Denise McLean-Paynter of The Co-operators Group were both recognized with awards for Exceptional Customer Service. Michael McGahern of Ottawa Solar Power received the Green Award, while Barrhaven Music Academy’s Ashley Martyn and Nadia Zai received the Young Entrepreneur Award. Kraig-Paul Proulx of the Centurion Conference and Event Center received the Professional Excellence Award.
