Colin Doherty has been appointed president and CEO of BTI Systems. He will be responsible for all corporate, business and product operations worldwide.
Eagle Professional Resources Inc. announced that Leslie Heathers has joined its team as sales director for the company’s finance and accounting staffing division in Western Canada. Ms. Heathers joins Eagle with more than 14 years in the staffing industry.
BluMetric Environmental Inc. announced the appointment of Jim Hotchkies as vice-president, commercial, in the water division. Most recently, Mr. Hotchkies had been working with LG Electronics, where he served as head of international business development for the water membrane division through his consulting company, JWH Consulting GmbH.
Lixar received Delphi’s 2013 Technology Award. Lixar was the only Canadian software company to be selected out of 1,500 suppliers. The award recognizes suppliers for their ability to focus creative resources on innovation.
S.i. Systems was named as a Gold Standard winner of the Canada’s Best Managed Companies program by qualifying for the designation every year since 2010. The designation recognizes excellence for Canadian-owned companies with revenues of more than $10 million.
REMISZ Consulting Engineers Ltd. was awarded the Willis Chipman Award at the 2014 Ontario Consulting Engineers Awards ceremony. The award recognizes the company’s Rockcliffe Parkway rehabilitation project for its contribution to the social, economic and environmental well-being of Ontario.
