Two securities commissions have lifted a cease-trade order on shares of Ottawa's Galahad Metals Inc. (TSX-V:GAX).

The junior mining firm has now made an application to the venture exchange to reinstate trading after a delay in filing its statements caused the freeze.

Both the Ontario Securities Commission and the Autorité des marchés financiers have lifted the order.

According to Galahad, an unexpected death in the chief financial officer's family caused a short delay in filing, and steps have been taken to ensure backup so the same situation doesn't happen again.

Galahad's stock was halted at $0.125 on July 4.
