RedBlacks sell 14,000 season tickets ahead of home opener

Ottawa’s new CFL team is still over three months away from its first home game, but over half of the tickets have already been sold.

A total of 17,500 tickets have been sold for the RedBlacks’ July 18 game against the Toronto Argonauts, according to the Ottawa Sports and Entertainment Group.

The organization says it has sold 14,000 season ticket packages.

TD Place at Lansdowne Park, Ottawa’s new football stadium, seats 24,000 people.
