xwave opens Irish office

IT services firm xwave said Wednesday it has opened a new office in Dublin, Ireland to serve and support its growing client base into Europe.

Xwave, an Aliant company, delivers complete IT services to clients through three service lines: systems integration and software engineering, infrastructure services and product fulfillment. It posted more than $330 million in revenues in the last fiscal year and has 2,400 employees.

"Ireland's economy is experiencing significant growth and positioning itself well as an eCommerce hub - which makes this nation an excellent home base for xwave's xpansion into the European market," Keith Collins, VP of the Newfoundland region, said in a release.
