Tech Data will market N-able's hosted software-as-a-service product Momentum System and customizable business transformation resource Velocity System to its North American customer base of small- and medium-sized businesses.
Meanwhile, N-able will work with Tech Data's solution providers to help them choose the right managed services system for their businesses, and will also provide related services and support for the two systems.
"There are literally thousands of value-added resellers (VARs) out there searching for a smarter way to either automate their existing service operations, incorporate managed services into their business model or become a true managed service provider," said N-able Technologies chief executive Gavin Garbutt in a statement. "As Tech Data's preferred provider of managed services solutions, we are able to proactively market to these VARs and provide them with flexible solutions and manufacturer alliances that will add more value and ultimately enable them to grow their business and realize the true profit potential of their IT expertise."
Tech Data has partnered with N-able for more than three years through the distributor's TechSelect Affiliate program of small- and medium-sized business resellers.
The two companies said they will be working together over the next several months to improve Tech Data's managed services offering and build alliances with manufacturers to lower the cost of service provision and speed up product and service delivery.
