OBJ looks at the fastest-growing private companies in the National Capital Region in 2012. Firms must have had minimum revenues of $100,000 in the first fiscal year under review and, by year three, a minimum of $1 million. Companies must have been cash-flow positive in all three years. Businesses are ranked by percentage revenue growth between year one and year three of their most recent three-year period.
