Envision Group lands $1.35M municipal contract

A subsidiary of The envision Group has received a construction contract to rehabilitate part of a waste treatment facility in Calgary, the company announced Wednesday.

Western Construction and Combustion Service Inc. was awarded the $1.35-million contract with the city of Calgary to remove the existing primary channel at the Bonnybrook Waste Treatment Facility and construct a new channel.

“Infrastructure upgrades such as this continue to be on the rise in Alberta,” said envision president and CEO Frank D'Addario in a statement.

Work is to begin next month and wrap up in November.

Earlier this year, The envision Group placed third in OBJ's list of Fastest Growing Companies for 2010, with a 525-per-cent growth rate.
