The $3.4-million construction project is slated to start in 2012 and will replace or buttress existing piping between Scott Street and Tyndall Avenue in west Hintonburg, a city spokesperson said in response to an OBJ query.
About 100 metres of sewer will be replaced between Byron and Tyndall avenues, the city added.
Requests for offers on Merx, a procurement site commonly used by all levels of government, are open until Thursday.
Design will be completed by spring next year, with construction starting in the summer. The work should be complete by late 2012.
