The environmental construction services company – which is headquartered in Ottawa but has a large proportion of its business in the west – said its Calgary-based Western Construction and Combustion Services Inc. subsidiary has been awarded a $3.38-million contract to perform major mechanical and electrical renovations and upgrades on the college’s technology building.
“Lethbridge continues to be a growth hub in Alberta and this is the second project that Western has been awarded in Lethbridge in the last six months,” said the group’s CEO Frank D’Addario in a statement, pointing to a $2.75-million deal to refurbish a building at Lethbridge’s Stafford Center that The envision Group won in October.
“Western continues to be highly successful as a general contractor in this volatile market. I’m confident that we’ll see exceptional growth within this group in 2010.”
The company added the two-phase project will begin in March, with completion scheduled for September 2010.
