A development application submitted to the city calls for replacing the one-storey building at 1021 St. Laurent Blvd. that used to house a Zellers store and replacing it with a two-storey Target store.
While the plan had initially called for most of the Zellers to be demolished, a revised plan filed with the city over the summer call for most of the building to remain.
The new Target store would be 12,630.58 square metres, an increase of 526 square metres over the existing structure.
