I don't understand why people are so negative towards this. Landsdowne Park was nothing great to begin with, The stadium was falling apart and was surrounded by concrete. At least with a renovated stadium, stores, restaurants, theatre and parks people will actually want to go there. Its a major improvement and holds a lot of potential. Now all they need to do is somehow run an LRT line down that way (eventually) to connect with Confederation Line.

This could have been so much more... sigh....

It's a huge improvement over what's there currently, but it still lacks the "wow" factor. It's just another average residential/commercial district, and worst of all, it's completely disconnected from the world-class gem next door - the Canal. This could have been so much more.

So, I see they have deleted the docks/marina at the Canal in favour of more retail space? It's pretty bad when I can't read the validation easily and have to scroll through twenty options. . . .

These pictures look awesome. Years from now, people will be wondering what the big fuss was all about. Let's get this project going--enough of the stall tactics from the Enemies of Lansdowne.
