Ottawa-based BTI said Enventis has deployed the BTI 7000 Series platform for a regional point-of-presence interconnect that would serve smaller points in its network and complement larger network platforms deployment in its major network centres in the midwestern U.S. state.
“Enventis sought a cost-effective means to deploy new applications and services for its government, education, enterprise and carrier customers to keep them profitable and productive,” said Jean-Charles Fahmy, BTI’s vice-president of product management, in a statement. “The BTI 7000 Series’ integrated packet optical capabilities provide a complete multi-service platform to help Enventis deliver powerful networking solutions that keep its customers connected.”
Enventis is also using BTI’s proNXTM 9000 Network Management platform as part of the agreement.
