Pagé worked with the City of Ottawa from 1978 until retiring in 2008, and served as city clerk between 1992 and his retirement.
He was also elected president of the International Institute of Municipal Clerks in 2002.
The 23-year-old firm stated it would continue to provide customization, integration, implementation and technical services to Canuck customers.
“Too many American companies assume that Canadian customers are just like their counterparts in the U.S.,” Pagé stated.
“We launched LSSCC to better support our Canadian customer base by designing and deploying agile ... systems that are sensitive to Canada’s unique regulatory, compliance and cultural landscape.”
Some of the firm's 600 customers include TD Financial Services, Tim Horton's and the Canadian Union of Postal Workers.
