Several other companies in the top 10 of the Branham300 have an Ottawa presence, such as BCE, Rogers Communications, CGI Group, CAE and Open Text.
Ottawa-based consulting firm Branham Group, which runs the annual ranking, lists the companies in order of annual revenues. RIM, at $20.2 billion, had revenues of more than double its closest competitor, BCE ($9 billion.)
The list also included nearly three dozen other companies with headquarters in the national capital region. Telesat was the first in this group, ranked at No. 13.
