Com Dev signs more than $10M in deals

Com Dev International Ltd. (TSX:CDV) said Thursday it has signed more than $10 million in contracts with Space Systems/Loral Inc. for microwave components and assemblies.

The company said the new agreements for the Ka band components are in addition to a contract already awarded in May 2012 by Space Systems/Loral Inc. for the same program.

Work on the contract will be carried out at the company's operation in Cambridge, Ont. and is expected to be completed by November 2013.

Com Dev, which has a presence in Ottawa, builds components and microsatellites for satellite contractors, government agencies and satellite operators.
