According to federal records, the Ottawa technology reseller is responsible for hardware, software, support, maintenance and training related to the operations of the telephone system.
The telephones are being used by the Canadian Transport Emergency Centre, a division of the transportation of dangerous goods directorate. The directorate promotes safe modes of shuttling hazardous materials by air, sea and land.
Maplesoft’s deal is valid for a year, with two one-year options to extend. Information posted on procurement site Merx did not specify if it is a standing offer, supply arrangement or other type of contract.
