LeoNovus raises $1M in private placement

California-based LeoNovus Inc. (TSX-V:LTV), which has an office in Ottawa, has raised more than $1 million in the initial closing of a private placement.

The offering was of up to 20 million units at a price of 15 cents each, but the initial closing came after issuing 6,862,500 units.

Private placement funds will be used for marketing and sales of LeoNovus’ connected television product, minus a finder’s fee, the company stated.

The completion of the initial closing is subject to approvals from the TSX Venture Exchange.
