TPG’s deal is worth up to $7.38 million, and The Halifax Group up to $7.93 million, under the contracting vehicle used to procure the work.
The deal was based on the lowest bid, according to documents on Merx, and was open only to qualified supply arrangement holders with a Tier 2 TBIPS designation.
According to Public Works, TBIPS contracts are standing offers and supply arrangements “related to a particular activity required to address a specific IT need, and ... usually associated with a specified set of responsibilities.”
DND is asking the companies for expertise relating to enterprise desktop services, and the expected period of contract is two years. There is the option to extend this contract by three one-year periods.
