Veritaaq wins $4M federal deal

Veritaaq Technology House Inc. has received an informatics standing arrangement from the federal government worth up to $4 million.

The work is for the human resources office of the Treasury Board Secretariat. Personnel will be required on an “as and requested basis” to work on data warehousing and business intelligence reporting.

The deal was awarded on the basis of the best overall proposal, according to federal records posted on procurement site Merx.

The deal was only open to tier 2 companies on the task-based informatics professional services supply arrangement list.

TBIPS are commonly used for specific IT needs with a list of responsibilities, according to Public Works.
