The Ottawa office of Telus Communications Co. has received a deal from Shared Services worth up to $4.52 million.

Topics :
Telus , Shared Services

Telus will provide equipment and accessories for voice-over-Internet protocol services, as well as support services such as maintenance, installation and training.

The deal is valid for one year, with the option to extend by three one-year contracts. The solicitation did not make clear if this is a standing offer, supply arrangement or other contracting vehicle.

Shared Services invoked a national security exemption in association with the deal. Small- and medium-sized enterprises have expressed concern that this practice will shut out IT procurements from smaller companies.
