The purchase of an addition 638,873 common shares at 50 cents each gives Leslie Klein direct or indirect control of approximately 39.8 per cent of the company’s issued and outstanding common shares. Half of Tuesday’s acquisition was made by Mr. Klein’s spouse, Vera Klein.
Mr. Klein also holds options to purchase an additional 750,000 common shares of the local satellite antenna systems manufacturer.
Last week, the local firm reported a 92-per-cent drop in third-quarter profits. The drop was due to a large one-time order last year.
C-Com shares were unchanged at 68 cents on Tuesday.
