Deals digest: Unlimi-Tech to help Bell Media broadcast CTV

Unlimi-Tech Software, Solace Systems, Harris Utilities and Halogen among local firms doing deals.

Bell Media has purchased technology from Ottawa-based Unlimi-Tech Software for its broadcast properties, including CTV. The technology, called FileCatalyst, is an accelerated file transfer solution. It allows Bell Media to more quickly exchange high-definition source material with outside partners such as animation and design studios and production companies. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The platform of Kanata-based middleware supplier Solace Systems is now being used by Triton Digital, an American digital service provider. Triton will use Solace Systems’ product for functions including real-time delivery of audio ads, collection of client data usage metrics and coordination of application events.

EnWin Utilities Ltd. has chosen Harris Utilities to enhance its customer services and enable consumers to better manage their resources. EnWin, Windsor's local distribution company, will deploy NorthStar for its customer information system, MeterSense for its meter data management and CustomerConnect for its customer engagement solution.

Local HR software provider Halogen Software Inc. is licensing its talent management suite to SGT, an engineering and aerospace contractor.
