API, Marcomm and C-COM among local firms landing deals.
API Technologies Corp.’s (NAS: ATNY)’ Canadian subsidiary, Emcon, has received a federal contract concerning secure communications products worth up to $15 million. Emcom is working with an undisclosed “global 2000 Canadian defence contractor” for the work, and is disclosing few other details due to security concerns. The government has already ordered $3.5 million worth of work, API added. Emcom has an office in Kanata.
Marcomm Systems Group Inc. installed, designed and commissioned a security system for a forensic services and coroner’s complex in Toronto that spans more than 525,000 square feet. The contract value was not disclosed. Features include biometrics access control and total video surveillance of the perimeter.
C-COM Satellite Systems Inc. (TSX-V:CMI) inked a new white label agreement with a large Asian electronic manufacturer, whose name was not released. C-COM’s iNetVu antenna technology will be consolidated into the Asian electronic manufacturer’s services and products for distribution. No contract value was disclosed.
