Wi-LAN Inc. (TSX:WIN) says it has reached a settlement in a patent dispute with Sierra Wireless Inc. (TSX:SW), a day after announcing a deal with BlackBerry.
WiLAN says under the latest deal, Sierra Wireless has agreed to enter into a multi-year licence to Wi-LAN's patent portfolio.
"As part of the agreement, all litigations between Wi-LAN and Sierra Wireless and its subsidiaries will be resolved," the company said in a release.
WiLAN said it expects a definitive agreement to be signed by the end of the month.
Financial details were not disclosed.
On Tuesday, WiLAN reached a deal with BlackBerry (TSX:BB), ending litigation in Florida and Texas.
On the Toronto Stock Exchange, WiLAN shares were up 14 cents, or 3.59 per cent, at $4.04 Thursday morning.
