Book of Lists: Ottawa’s largest business directory and buying guide released

Who are the city’s largest law firms? Top tourist attractions? Biggest craft brewers?

Each year, the Ottawa Business Journal sets out to find the top local companies in dozens of key economic sectors.

The end result is the Book of Lists, Ottawa’s largest business directory and buying guide, which has recently hit the streets.

The 2016 edition contains key information on some 600 businesses in the National Capital Region that’s been updated throughout the year.

Even in the age of Google, there is simply nowhere else to find this data.

The 82-page Book of Lists also includes profiles and interviews of the top executives at more than a dozen firms and key economic statistics to bring readers up to speed on what’s happening in the city’s tech, tourism, real estate and business services sectors.

Other key features include:

- Ottawa’s top construction projects

- Top federal contracts

- An expanded Who Makes What section on the salaries of some of the city’s highest-paid executives

- Profiles of top performers in tourism, real estate and other award winners
