Ottawa-based Kinaxis Inc. named David Kelly its new vice-president of professional services on Wednesday.
Kelly comes to the company, which sells cloud-based supply chain management software, after a stint leading IBM’s enterprise content management worldwide services business.
The company said Mr. Kelly will be responsible for Kinaxis’ global deployment, training and consulting teams.

“He will enable steady growth and continue with our long-standing history of professional service excellence,” said Kinaxis Inc. CEO Doug Colbeth in a statement.
Kelly replaces Monique Rupert, who has retired after six years in the position.
“It is my pleasure and honour to lead a group of people with the level of dedication and know-how that the Kinaxis professional service team possesses,” Mr. Kelly said in a statement.
Kinaxis completed a successful initial public offering last month, the first Ottawa IPO in 13 months.
