An executive par-3 golf course in Kanata is aiming to tee up another three-year zoning exemption from the city.
The Marchwood Golf Course, located on March Valley Road near the Brookstreet Hotel, is a small-scale version of the Marshes course next door. Both courses are part of the Brookstreet resort complex owned by Terry Matthews-backed Wesley Clover International.
The nine-hole, par-27 Marchwood facility has been operating since 2005 on land that is zoned for industrial business park use. The European PGA-approved short course has received a series of site-specific bylaw exemptions that have been renewed every three years, with the latest one set to expire near the end of April.
