The L-Spark family of companies grew by six today as the Kanata-based accelerator welcomed its winter 2017 cohort. Below are a list of the B2B SaaS companies moving into Uncle Leo’s house.

Advolv:

“Twitter is hard. Advolv can help.” For companies who reach their customers via the 140-character social platform, Advolv develops software to help schedule and optimize ads on Twitter. The company says it can “hyper-target” its Twitter ads to interested users and help businesses discover leads through the platform.

LeadFox:

Like Advolv, LeadFox specializes in the web marketing space. The company provides integrated software to manage every aspect of online advertising campaigns: landing pages, pop-ups, form generation, e-mail, A/B tests and more. To round out the package, LeadFox provides analytics for clients’ campaigns and automatically integrates with tools like WordPress, Shopify and Salesforce.

Portia International:

Portia International offers a learning management solution for the healthcare industry, specifically for school boards and clinics caring for student and patients on the autism spectrum or with developmental delays. The firm’s suite of solutions aims to improve businesses’ and clinics’ productivity and consistency of care.

ProcedureFlow:

ProcedureFlow calls its solution an employee’s “Single Source of Truth,” which, dramatics aside, can be useful if an organization’s new hires are bogged down by the need to learn numerous processes. The platform aims to synthesize complex procedures down to step-by-step visual instructions and then refine steps through use. The result, the company says, is reduced training times and improved task completion.

Quickily:

If you’ve ever wished job applications were more like online dating, you may be interested in using Quickily, where you can “swipe right to apply.” The mobile application lets you upload a resume, browse through jobs with a swipe left or right and chat with employers directly on the platform after applying.

VigilantCS:

Regulatory demands and compliance standards can be time and resource-draining for financial services firms, but VigilantCS hopes to reduce the stress with its automated solution. This firm offers a cohesive SaaS solution for firms wondering how an internal change will affect compliance standards, seeking templates for drafting policies and procedures or in need of a variety of other risk management tools.
