The remote Tremblant’s 24h is your personal sporting challenge, done remotely and from anywhere! Based on the classic 24h challenge, teams of 2 to 12 participants relay each other at their own pace, in the sport activity of their choice.
Put your imagination to work! No rules, no limits... just 24 hours of your time, non-stop or in segments; alone or in a relay effort with others; extreme outdoor sports or something in your living room... anything and everything goes! Walk or run on a 5-km loop, strap on snowshoes or skis, ride your local trails on a fatbike or cycle in front of the TV. All you need to do is get moving!
This is the first year that CHEO will be a direct beneficiary of the event. The virtual fundraising and remote activity challenges will culminate throughout the weekend of Dec. 4-6, 2020. The proceeds from the 2020 edition of Tremblant’s 24h will help fund urgently needed cancer care and cutting-edge cancer research at CHEO and the CHEO Research Institute.
For the past 20 years, Tremblant’s 24h has provided a charitable sporting event that brings together thousands of enthusiastic participants who ski, run or walk in a 24 hour-long relay to raise money for children’s causes.
Each year the funds raised support three official beneficiaries with the goal that one day, all children can grow and flourish in good health.
The 20th edition of Tremblant’s 24h will rally this community to create a movement of solidarity for children’s causes. With the second wave of COVID-19 upon us, organizers have chosen to approach things differently this year, by transforming the experience into a fully virtual fundraiser featuring remote activity challenges, so participation has never been more accessible or customisable for each team.
Registration for the 20th anniversary of Tremblant’s 24h is open until November 22, 2020 at: https://www.24htremblant.com/en
